It's a tough world out there in tech. I started this site in 2024 in part for fun and in part to differentiate myself in the event that I'm laid off.
As uncertainty in the tech market has ramped up, so has my publishing pace. As I put more posts out there over the last two months, some readers reached out and mentioned I inspired them to write blogs of their own!
So I wanted to share a simple lesson I think we already know but rarely reflect on: We can make each other better.
If you're out there in the world a little lost, and you're not sure what to do, just identify something good, something small—like writing a blog post—and go do it. If even one person finds value in it, you've already made a difference. And if someone else sees it and feels inspired to do the same thing, we've made each other better once again.
